heatvent 0
Ok. I did some more troubleshooting and here is what I have: With no path substitutions I get audio and no video If I add path substitution I can play SD MPEG-2 files fine but H.264 HD files will not play at all (just black screen no audio no video) I am assuming in 1 above MB3 is transcoding and in 2 the Echo is trying to play directly which it can't????? On the windows box I am not using path substitutions and all works fine. So there must be something different between the transcoding in Windows and Linux that is maybe the issue?? I will hunt in the linux forums to see if there is something on that there.
kenyonlv 0
I have the same blue border ie "windowed" effect on my Ceton Echo. I did find a workaround ...after starting a movie you can return to the main WMC menu and select "Now Playing" ... the border disappears. Not sure if this will pass the wife test since she is the one using the Echo ... is there a way to revert to the previous version of MBC? There was not this problem with that version and I got several years of no complaints.
