Hi there,

I just installed MBC (version 3.0.78.0 B10-17.2) and can't get my DVDs (in raw VIDEO_TS directories as VOB) to play on the Xbox 360 extender. (Yes, Transcode360 is enabled in the settings.)

I get an error when trying to play the media, and this in the log:

(The last line appears to be the relevant one.)

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan.

Are you saying DVD rips can't play on the extender, even with transcoding?

That's a shame; it's the entire reason I want this setup.

Honestly, I'm not sure.  I've forgotten exactly what the support is so don't take my word for it.

Unfortunately I dont know of any way to get a video_ts folder to play. I know if size isnt an issue storage wise then you can turn these into a single vob file and then change the extension to mpg and they will play without quality loss but you wouldnt have the dvd menus etc.
