dposluns 0
Hi there, I just installed MBC (version 3.0.78.0 B10-17.2) and can't get my DVDs (in raw VIDEO_TS directories as VOB) to play on the Xbox 360 extender. (Yes, Transcode360 is enabled in the settings.) I get an error when trying to play the media, and this in the log: (The last line appears to be the relevant one.) Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan. dposluns 0
Ok, don't know why the code didn't appear. Trying to attach the log as a file instead... MBClassic-24102013172dda8016dc4bd2bf304879f229456c.log
ebr 14933
I don't believe folder rips will play on the 360 but BAS can confirm. Here is some information from the old forum.
dposluns 0
Are you saying DVD rips can't play on the extender, even with transcoding? That's a shame; it's the entire reason I want this setup. Dan.
ebr 14933
Honestly, I'm not sure. I've forgotten exactly what the support is so don't take my word for it. @@BAS is the man who will know.
Solution BAS 225 Posted October 27, 2013 Solution Share Posted October 27, 2013 Unfortunately I dont know of any way to get a video_ts folder to play. I know if size isnt an issue storage wise then you can turn these into a single vob file and then change the extension to mpg and they will play without quality loss but you wouldnt have the dvd menus etc.
Lee 204
can't you put them thru makemkv and keep everything? (just a suggestion I'm not positive!)
