Forces Subtitles not being forced

I am having issues getting forced subtitles to show by default in the latest build of MBT.  My library is stored as .iso images of both Blu ray and DVD format.  My server is running on a different machine then where my play back occurs.   

 

I am using Avatar as my test image and using all of default setting the movie plays just fine.  Issue is I have to select show in system tray to see the LAVSpliter and xy-VSFilters icons to un HIDE subtitles and then select forced.  After I do this the forced subtitles will display just fine. I have to do this regardless of the video renderer I select (madVR/EVR+) and this issue happens on all of my playback computers.  This is a new issue as it was playing the forced subtitles fine in prior releases (when I you had to install VSFilters and madvr and LAV separately)

 

Is anyone else having this issue, it kind of kills the mood having to remember to switch on forced subtitles.
