ronvp 92
This is just a heads up for anybody using xmedia-recode to batch convert their movies to MKV or MP4 and converting to AAC audio I noticed that when recompressing the audio to AAC (FAAC), the audio channels get swapped. i.e.: Left channel goes to center and center goes to left. I found that if you go to the "Audio tab" – "Channel mapping" and set the “Channel order mode” from "Disabled" to "Automatic", it works perfectly. I reported it to the programmers. Not a big deal, but if you do batch convert dozens of (or more) movies and then find out the center and left channels are swapped, you will be grinding your teeth.. If you do find that you have audio channels swapped, then you can use XMedia-recode to batch covert and swap them back to normal
