kfonda 25
I don't know if this is the right place to ask so please feel free to move it or tell me if I'm crazy. :-) How hard would it be possible to modify Kodi/MB3 so that I could just point Kodi to the server from the Kodi 'advancedsettings.xml' file like you would with a mysql server? Vidman 589
It is easier to just install the xbmb3c addon
kfonda 25
I use xbmb3c now but the main advantage of my suggestion would be that no Kodi themes or addons would have to be modified, they should all just work. I'm sure there are somethings I'm overlooking, but I thought it would be worth bringing up anyway.
Vidman 589
Yes there's some things you're overlooking;) it was discussed in the early stages of the addon the possibility of using xbmcs database but it would be more problematic Edited November 18, 2014 by Vidman
kfonda 25
OK, fair enough. Was worth a try to ask. :-)
xnappo 1593
It is definitely possible to write something that constantly synchronizes the MB3 database to the XBMC database. But I have no interest in doing it. xnappo
