Hi all,

I was wondering about the plugin for xbmc. So xbmc can use mediabrowser3 as a backend for xbmc, does it offer transcoding on the fly? and how is the media shared between mb3 and xbmc, is  it upnp/multicast? I'm searching for a non-upnp/multicast solution that supports transcoding on the fly and can be a media source for xbmc.

thx in advance!!

Whichever protocol you set in your mapping of the path files on the media browser server. Mine for example use the NFS protocol which I setup using path substitution on the server. You can also choose to steam via http if you prefer.

Try it out and if you have further issues/questions please post them in the Kodi thread http://mediabrowser.tv/community/index.php?/forum/99-kodi/

Thank you, will give it a go  :D
