Everything was working but now I can not view or record LIveTV via my HDHomeRun Quad tuner….Viewing via the HDHomeRun App on my Apply TV works fine (tuner is good) but as soon as I try to view live contents on FireTV, iPad, etc. I just get a blue circle.   And of course, nothing sheduled records anymore. I’m up-to-date on Emby Server. I’ve reset and reloaded all software (i’m an engineer). I removed HDHomeRun as the “tuner” device for Emby and reinstalled…I’m running out of things to try…

I had the same problems when the 4.8.?? release came out.  Sometimes recordings would work for a few minutes, other times it would not record anything.  I watched the triggers for upcoming events, and all appeared to be as it should be.  But in the end a scheduled recording would not take place.  Many posts were made about the problem just after the new version, but the only solution I found was to roll back to 4.7.14.0.  Things have been working without flaw for me since that roll back.

I have been watching the change log on the new versions of the server software, looking for some indication that a change has been made to the server that might correct the problem.  But, I have seen nothing that would indicate the problem has been corrected.  

The change from 4.7... to 4.8... does some changes to the database, so you will have to do a fresh install and rebuild the library (unless you have a back-up).  It is a time consuming task, but it will get you back to where you want to be.  I had provided logs, and samples a few months back, but nothing seemed to come from it.  So until I see something in the change log addressing live tv, it's 4.7.14.0 for me.

Luke, You say to get you all of the data, logs, etc. but the more I read this problem occurred when you went to 4.8….
