lightsout 144
Sorry if this is the wrong place. New install just basically drivers. Sharks codecs, hdhomerun drivers. Tried two different MCE remotes. Both work great on other PC's. Only green button and play buttons work in wmc. Whether in Live TV or while playing files in mb. I have to push the green button and exit wmc just to stop a video. Any ideas besides a clean install. I uninstalled any driver titled ehome. Tried different USB port. I'm stuck. shaefurr 1337
Well my first advice would have been reinstall the drivers or try a different USB port, but since you did that... You can try this, go to Control Panel->All Control Panel Items->Administrative Tools->Services and make sure "Human Interface Device Access" service is set to Automatic. Also I heard the google play extension can cause the remote to start freaking out, you would just need to open chrome and remove the extension if you have it. Other software that uses global keyboard hooks can cause it too I believe. I'm just guessing here though, maybe one of these will help you.
gthrift 57
You said you tried two different remotes, but did you try different IR receivers? What kind are you using?
lightsout 144
You know what now that you bring up the chrome thing I think I had a similar issue in the past. I don't have that extension but I think another one caused me similar issues. I'll check that out when I get home. Thank you. As far as receivers I did try two different ones with two different remotes. All have the same issue. Hoping the chrome thing is going to do it.
