gene0915 37
A few weeks ago, I was playing around with MB3 and setting up the server portion. I added a test movie, Monsters, Inc. (2001) and it kept wanting to download meta data for some old movie called (I think) Mickey's Gang?! The file name was: Monsters Inc (2001).MKV. Plex had no problems with correctly identifying this movie....why did MB3 fail?
Beardyname 195
Without knowing what the folder name etc (was there an .nfo present etc) I can't help you with this, But however if a movie is misidentified it's really easy to fix, just bring it up in the metadata-editor. Press identify and start searching!
ebr 14925
No idea without more information (How to Report a Problem) but did you try using the web client to identify it? Was it in one of our supported folder structures? How was the Media Folder defined?
GhostRider 46
I have seen something similiar. I traced this down to having a trailer file in the movie folder named incorrectly as just "trailer" and not "movie_name-trailer". There is an old Micky Mouse movie called trailer which caused MB3 to to download meta data for this movie. I just renamed the trailer file correctly, deleted the trailer meta data: xml file, poster file, background etc and it all sorted itself out.
