MrMackey 34 Posted May 26, 2024 Posted May 26, 2024 Greetings, I have the following problem, I have 2 computers with linux mint and there I installed the flatpack version of Emby Theater. No matter what I try to play (music, movies, TV) only the loading circle appears and nothing happens. Via the browser it works as usual and with the windows version of Emby Theater it also works without problems. I think it has to do with the update to the latest server version 4.8.7.0. I have also tried to delete Emby Theater and reinstall it, but that didn't help either. 1
JoBagOfDonuts 6 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 +1 on this, just infinitely loads. Devs if you can please look into this
JoBagOfDonuts 6 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Tried snap version as well and does the same thing.
MrMackey 34 Posted June 7, 2024 Author Posted June 7, 2024 I found out if you download and install the deb or flatpack file manually it works. So there is something wrong with the version provided in the flathub. 1
JoBagOfDonuts 6 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Tried native fedora rpm package and it worked fine. Can confirm there is something wrong with the flatpack and snap versions of the app when downloaded from software store.
Luke 39667 Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Hi, can you please try our new Emby Theater 3.0.21 package? https://emby.media/download Please let us know how this compares. Thanks ! 1
MrMackey 34 Posted June 22, 2024 Author Posted June 22, 2024 @Luke Thanks for the new version Unfortunately, the OSD no longer displayed when I play something. With version 3.0.19 it works.
