A way to use my iphone to advance a video remotely on another device?

I have Emby on my Nordic Track where  I watch music videos. Oddly enough if I skip enough songs via the next arrow on the touch screen on the Emby app, it seems to cross wires with the incline of my treadmill effectively resetting the incline to 0 and stops nullifies the incline control until reboot.

So I figure if I could remotely skip the song via my iphone and not touching the touchscreen,  perhaps it won't jam the incline controls.
Is there a remote control via iphone app  or something?
I have used the treadmill without Emby and the incline works just fine.

You should be able to remote control it using the cast button in the app from another device.

I can imagine your cartoon character member image going through this problem. Wrong button... cross circuit electric flash and the Nordic speeds up and shoots you off the backside. Scooby laughs...  Ha!

OK... Does the Nordic track show up as a castable player from your mobile using Emby?  Check it by tapping the Emby mobile casting icon, upper right.  Nordic might show up, but it may not. 

Emby Web-App: I have no idea if this is possible, but if you use Emby Web app and you can load Kodi onto your Nordic player, that might make the Nordic appear castable.  You would just have to just turn Kodi app on inside Nordic.  Any start screen is fine.  You could cast from your iphone to the Nordic if it can run Kodi.  By the way, Kodi is sort of locked out of many TV brands, but there are ways to get around that by going into developer mode and finding the Kodi app directly.  This is all pointless if you cannot add apps into Nordic.
