sereneden 0
There is the note in the KB: Quote if you have an artist with two albums of the same name you will need to use mbzalbumids or slightly change one title to differentiate the albums or they will get combined. An example is artist Kim Wilde who has two albums name "The Very Best Of Kim Wilde", one from 1984, one from 2001. .. but there is no suggestion where should you mention required mbzalbumid. I may mave 2-5 different releases of one album, so it'll be rather useful to clarify. I tried to add a mbzalbumid=ID in the album name, but it's useless. Happy2Play 8349
Naming is not that relevant as Emby depends on embedded tags. So if you have multiple versions of the same album you would need to tag the tracks to their perspective version. Otherwise they will all appear in one album. So the example is slightly wrong as it is 1987 and 2001 1987 has 4 of its own versions Release group “The Very Best of Kim Wilde” by Kim Wilde - MusicBrainz 2001 has 2 of its own versions Release group “The Very Best of Kim Wilde” by Kim Wilde - MusicBrainz But in the end each of your versions has to have its own release id to be independent albums in Emby.
