"Movies" library oddities.

So I setup a new server recently and restored from a backup using the plugin from the old server and rsynced over all the media. And I'm having a weird issue where the Movies library detects no items after a full scan, I have to do a refresh metadata on the library for the movies to appear but then any subsequent library scan wipes them all out again. What makes this odd is that the issue didn't exist on the prior server and all the files are the same.

I have the files inside the Emby users home folder and I already did chown emby:emby on all the media.

I don't have anything related to Over the Garden Wall in my movies folder or any folder/library so I suspect this is where the issue stems from, especially since this library has a content type of movies so idk where its getting any sort of season info from.

I also have a single show in my TV shows library that for some reason is detecting a bunch of files from a completely different folder that the library nor any other is configured to scan.

Are all the media folder paths exactly as before ? and is the directory structure exactly as before?

 

What backup settings options did you have selected on this screen in Backup & Restore settings

and do you happen to still have logs saved from the first launch after the restore?

Do you have any old server database backups that we can compare the current database with - to do spot check on media paths

I ended up just deleting the entire /var/lib/emby path to rebuild the server manually, the backup seems to have messed everything up as after that the issue was resolved.
