What will Emby do if files overlap?

This is just a general question before I import some files to Emby.

I have two sources of files for "Night Gallery." They both have shows with multiple episodes but not always the same shows. This is an example:
Night Gallery s02e04e08
And
Night Gallery s02e03e06

What i want to know, before I import, is what will Emby do with the files and how will they display within Emby.
I cannot get the originals anymore as the files were part of a large library I inherited several years ago.

I can split up the files on natural breaks but that will have to be done manually and therefore will take a LOT of time and energy.

Thanks. Again I am not trying to fix anything I just want to know what to expect and what, if anything, I can do to minimize problems.

HI, you should just see two different multi-episode files in your episode list.

Will display as one episode with an end episode

So your example will be 3-6 and 4-8, three/four episodes in one file.

Thanks! That was what I was hoping for. I just was worried that it might somehow screwup the library.

I am paranoid! But am I paranoid enough? :D

I am glad that Emby handles this kind of weirdness in a reasonable manner.
If I should notice anything abnormal i will report back but I do not think there will be any reason.
I also have a few where there is one multi part file and one single file that is included in the multi part. Like:

s01e08e12
and
s01e11
I suspect that I will get two entries there as well but it is much easier to fix as simply deleting the single file would correct things.
