dleclere 0
Good morning, I just put a new file in the movies and this one is not taken into account. The movie: Blackbird, Blackberry (2023), this movie exists in TMDB. I have already put several dozen films, so normally it works. Is it possible to access not by directory and movie title but by directory and file? Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Didier.
Luke 37084
Hi there, what exactly do you mean by "not taken into account"? Are you saying it's not showing up in Emby? Did you try running a library scan?
dleclere 0
Good morning, Yeah, I don’t see the file in Emby’s movies. I’ve already done several scans of the library. Is it possible to see the files by file name and not by movie title? So far, I haven’t found anything, but maybe there’s an extension? Didier. FatherSaint 7
The proper title of the movie, according to IMDB, is "Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry" If I may offer a suggestion, name the folder for your 'Blackbird' movie AND the movie itself Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry (2023) [imdbid=tt27737950] and then do a scan of the Movie library... I'd be very surprised if that doesn't solve the problem. I have perfect success with Emby and I think that at least part of the reason for that is due to including the ID in my folder & file naming MOVIES: https://emby.media/support/articles/Movie-Naming.html SHOWS: https://emby.media/support/articles/TV-Naming.html
FatherSaint 7
I did a test and Emby picked up the movie right away after doing a library scan when the movie is named Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry (2023) [imdbid=tt27737950]

Change to Table view and show file name. But need specific examples as it would appear you have and incorrect name per above. Server log for specific example is need also so show the query sent to provider. Blackbird Blackbird Blackberry (2023) — The Movie Database (TMDB) (themoviedb.org) But with the info you provided it should have been found though.
