Any update on Dolby Vision pass through? I have a Roku TV that supports DV. My files only play in HDR.

HI, do they direct play in the Emby Roku app? This is something that gets handled automatically by the Roku video player.

If it's already direct playing, then our only option is to report the issue to Roku, and they may very well come back and say that Dolby Vision licensing doesn't allow them to make the feature available to all apps.

On the other hand, if it's not direct playing, then maybe we can look at how to make that happen.

It shows direct play, and it's reporting DoblyVision in the stats for nerds. The TV has a feature that shows in the top right-hand corner if the content is HDR, HDR+, or DolbyVision. The TV only goes into HDR mode.

Most Roku TV models made presently only support DolbyVision inside the MP4 container. You can try posting in the thread above and getting a response from Roku. Emby is allowing the Roku to access the file directly unmodified and the Roku video player has control of the playback. We cannot force the video player to choose. Roku themselves determine this support.
