Mfurman 1 Posted March 25 Share Posted March 25 What’s the easiest way to give access to a remote user? I want all the remote users to have their own user name to be able sign into my server. Have them create an account here on the forums and then use said email on your server with a username for them, and enable Emby Connect. https://emby.media/support/articles/Users.html it might be a bit dated. I just do this: Quote 1) Have person create an account at https://emby.media/community/index.php?/register/ 2) Send me their email address they used to get the account. 3) They install a Emby client while ... 4) I create their user, putting the Emby connect email address in that Optional field and set what they have access to etc. 5) Tell them to connect as a test.
