chrypox 8
Hello, I've been an Emby user for years and I'm very happy with it. However, I've just noticed that for Video Clips, the "Genres" category has been removed on Chrome and also on the LG application. I manage over 4500 music video clips and everything was classified by genre for ease of use, allowing me to choose what I wanted to listen to at any given moment. I'm using the Plex theme on Chrome and I thought it was the problem, so I removed it, but the problem was still there. I thought about watching on my LG TV and the category was also missing. Can you tell me if you intend to put the genres back in the video clips or if there's a way of adding it in a different way? Thanks in advance
Happy2Play 8319
Should only be missing if there are no genres on content. Do your video clips still have genres in their metadata?
chrypox 8
Hello, thank you for your quick reply. Yes, all my video clips have genre tags as you can see on the capture.
Happy2Play 8319
Sorry was looking at a different content type library. This is a Music Videos content type library correct? @Lukethe tab is hidden per the console. Tags do work if I apply one. Tried appling a new genre and no luck. Unhide functions. chrypox 8
Yes, it's a clip video library. When I look in the console I also see "Genres", but then why doesn't it appear in the header menu? That's odd.

As you can see in the class it has "hide" so I can only guess a script is broken/changed when actual genres are present. If you remove hide the tab will show until you refresh the browser. chrypox 8
So if I understand correctly, we have to wait for the coders to fix the problem? I could wait But I also have the same problem with LG's WebOS ...
