Some HEVC files not playing video (audio works) on Shield TV Pro

Using latest version of Emby for Android TV (from the store) with the latest Emby server for Synology NAS (64 bit). Some HEVC files aren't playing correctly, such as this one:

Hi, and thanks for the reply. I tried your advice, but it's no better when sideloading the other app,although slightly different. With the Android TV app I just get a black screen, the player says it is direct playing (which it should):

 

With the sideloaded Android app you linked to, I get choppy play with washed out colors (don't know if it comes through in the screenshot):

 

Also, I'm a bit confused about the sideloaded app, it says I'm restricted to 1 minute of play, should it do that? My Android TV app is unlocked...
