rbjtech 4266 Posted March 21 Share Posted March 21 Just wondering if anybody has made the jump to Wifi 6E or Wifi 7 yet (tri band) ? I never bothered with Wifi 6 (I'm still on Wifi 5) - but as Ubiquiti Wifi 7 Access Points are now available - has anybody had any real life experience vs good old Wifi 5 ? I'm aware Wifi 7 is not yet an official final standard (end of 2024 I believe) but the standard is defined enough to be given 'Wifi 7 certified' marks from the Wi-fi alliance... odd. ps - I'm also well aware devices need to have 6E or 7 - getting the FireTV 4K Max Gen 2 yesterday (with 6E) has prompted this question .. FrostByte 5049 Posted March 22 Share Posted March 22 I'll probably be upgrading from Wifi 6 to either 6E or 7 myself this coming fall when my house is connected to fiber. If I were to upgrade today though it would probably be Wifi 6E.
