ssdflk34kl34r 1 Posted March 20 Share Posted March 20 (edited) Hey there -- Like the title says, I'm attempting to play Aliens (DoVi) and it's not working. I'm getting a message "Too many errors. Giving Up" for any movie in the 4k DV HEVC (and really any with a TrueHD track). I confirmed it does work on movies without TrueHD / non 4k Dovi or 4k Remux. The strange thing is that I downloaded the other Android app (the non TV one) and I confirmed that it does play properly and passes through TrueHD without any transcoding (confirmed on my sound system). Both apps are updated to their full version (Emby for Android 3.3.77) and (Android TV 2.1.10g Registered). I'm on the newer Shield that supports this as well, it's fully updated. I sent a log to Emby at 4:04pm ET playing Aliens - DM me for the username. I don't have access to the server right now but can get logs later if those are required). Any help would be great! Thanks!
