RanmaCanada 345
You need to have them properly numbered. You can split them apart as they are, or number them properly. If they do not have a corresponding number on the TVDB, then you need to magically create them as we have with anime. What some of us would do is take Season 03 "extras" and change their numbering as so Season 03/Doctor Who (1963) S03E01 Four Hundred Dawns/Doctor Who (1963) S00E301 Four Hundred Dawns - Black & White Animation.mkv Season 03/Doctor Who (1963) S03E01 Four Hundred Dawns/Doctor Who (1963) S00E302 Four Hundred Dawns - Colour Animation.mkv Season 03/Doctor Who (1963) S03E01 Four Hundred Dawns/Doctor Who (1963) S00E303 Four Hundred Dawns - Photographic Reconstruction.mkv Season 03/Doctor Who (1963) S03E01 Four Hundred Dawns/Extras/S00E304 Finding Galaxy 4.mkv Extras do not typically have entries that metadata can be pulled from, so we need to create our own entires that 1) don't conflict with existing entries in the TVDB, 2) are named and placed properly so Emby understands them. I use the S00Exxx to put them in the "specials" folder, and then then Ex is the season. As it's very rare for shows to have over 100 "specials" this generally works. Happy2Play 8295
There still needs to be more documentation here in a multi-version environment. @LukeWhat is the guidance for multi-version episode as extras folder breaks at episode folder level and alongside episodes forces you to target one version. Alongside episode as -featurette. So the question becomes in the featurette method the only officially supported method for episodes? But breaks just dumping any named extras into folder. Luke 37093
Quote What is the guidance for multi-version episode as extras folder breaks at episode folder level and alongside episodes forces you to target one version. Officially the guidance is the same, however I have tested this and reproduced, so there is an open issue when combining these two things.
