hemandk 4 Posted March 16 Share Posted March 16 I'm looking at upgrading my old 4790T based server. I have a b560m board that will get a Samsung Evo 970+ as my transcoding drive. I have the options of the i5-11500 for 130€ or the i7-11700 for 190€. Not really sure if it makes sense to get the i7-11700. As I understand the transcoding ability of the UHD750 is independent of the cpu model right? Besides emby my server also host a Home Assistant server.
