r0ckarong 0 Posted March 12 Share Posted March 12 I use emby on my ancient Android 8 tablet to watch TV shows in bed with my kid. I usually have reduced brightness on the display to not burn my eyes out at night. When I let Emby autoplay the next episode, the screen brightness gets set to 100% and blasts me in the eyes. Is there some setting that I'm missing or is this (what I assume is) a bug? I don't control the brightness from Emby directly at all. I set it with the Android system slider and just run Emby. However, it seems when a new episode is started it takes over the control and resets the brightness value to max. I've tested this on my Galaxy S10 phone and there the brightness just stays at the level I set it at. I'm using: Emby Server 4.9.0.9 Beta Emby Player 3.3.66 Lenovo Tab4 8 Plus with the "latest" available firmware which is Android 8 from I think 2019 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
