DanielFrank 11
Hello. I'm using Emby to organize all my digitised VHS tapes, which mostly consists of old cartoons. In most cases, the automatic identifier within Emby would be wrong. But somehow I can't remove the identification from the item, and I'm basically stuck with the wrong covers, descriptions etc, if I don't remove it manually. How do I un-identify videos? Here's an example of a couple of cartoons I've digitised. The first two Spider-Man tapes are NOT the live-action Spider-Man movies, and are therefore wrongfully identified. GrimReaper 3308
Which server version/platform you're running?
Luke 37095
You can remove Identification in Emby Server 4.8+, but I would suggest using Identify to lookup the correct match.
DanielFrank 11
Sorry! I was running an older version of Emby (the default version that is offered in Synology Package Center). After updating Emby, I now have the option to "Remove Identification". Thanks!
