Move individual libraries to another volume

Hey, I would like to move individual libraries from volume 1 to volume 2. How do I get all metadata including the added date and seen status to be included?

I found one or two posts, but they talk about reinstalling Emby. I don't want to move all libraries including Emby, just individual libraries.

Hi, there isn't officially a quick way of doing this. You need to just remove the folders and add the new ones.

Do you have nfo files with your media? That will help you preserve as much metadata as possible, including date added.

Thanks, it worked.

Except the playlists. I simply edited the .m3u and .xml files manually in the path "/var/packages/EmbyServer/var/data/playlists/".

Example: volume1/old_folder/ replaced by volume2/new_folder/

I didn't have any favorites, but I can imagine that it's the same principle as with playlists?
