browned 33 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 In the web client we can sort the collections using the Sort Name field. Is this something that the ROC theme can do? or is this an underlying feature of the MB Server or MBC?
Yogi 367 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 The sort order is determined how you set it up in the server, all themes follow that order.
browned 33 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 So I am correct to put A B C D E etc in front of the Sort Name field on the web client and this will sort the collections in MBC no matter what the theme? I have done that but no collection is sorted to the order I want. in Neo or ROC. Is there somewhere else to set the sort order?
Yogi 367 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 I am not sure if A,B C, works,I have and always used 0001,0002 etc and all works here except for Movies by Genre which is all I use,I don't use Favorites.
browned 33 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) Will give that a try. thanks. Yes you are correct A B C D in the sort name does not work. 0001, 0002 etc does. Thanks again Edited October 20, 2013 by browned
ebr 15439 Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 Any alphabetical sort will work. However, if your user profiles don't use the default library, then you'll need to edit the collection folders for each individual user...
browned 33 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Posted October 20, 2013 EBR it didn't seem to work for me and I have had it set with letters for a few months. Strange, but the todays change to numbers fixed my issue.
