Playlist on Synology NAS

I have several .wpl playlists in my music folder.  Emby recognizes the playlist by name but says there is no content.  I've tried numerous song location formats but have not been successful.

My music library is located in volume1/music

I've tried, among others:

\\volume1\music\Morgan Wallen\7 Summers - Single\01 7 Summers.mp3

\\music\Morgan Wallen\7 Summers - Single\01 7 Summers.mp3

\\<IP Address>:8096\volume1\music\Morgan Wallen\7 Summers - Single\01 7 Summers.mp3

\\<IP Address>:8096\music\Morgan Wallen\7 Summers - Single\01 7 Summers.mp3

I even saved a playlist in a .m3u format as a test and tried many similar variations, including changing \ to /:

#EXTINF:0,13 - ¡americano!.mp3
/volume1/music/Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers/Live At Billy Bob's Texas [Bonus Tracks]/13 ¡americano!.mp3

I even made a test playlist in EMBY, which will play the song.  Under Media Info it shows the song location as: /volume1/music/Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers/Live At Billy Bob's Texas [Bonus Tracks]/13 ¡americano!.mp3

Any suggestions?

Hi, the paths in the playlist need to exactly match the library paths that are used in Emby library setup. Do they?

Either that or they need to be relative paths.

If using Windows File Explorer the location is:  \\<IP address>\music

In Synology File Station it is /Music in Volume1

I've tried both strings, plus many others in Emby , but so no luck.  Does Emby care if its \ or /?  Does Emby need a particular root directory?

What is it in Emby library setup for your music library?

I got it working.  The correct path was /volume1/music/...

then had to rescan library and then wait about 15 minutes before Emby recognized the playlist

thanks!
