nmkaufman 49
I had a file, named "Documentary Now! - S03E01" While watching it, I realized it was actually e01 and e02 combined into a single file. I renamed the file, appropriately, to Documentary Now! - S03E01-02; but I cannot get Emby to refresh the metadata to reflect this change. I've refreshed (replaced all) metadata on both the series, and episode, and nothing gives. I've had this problem in the past, and the only resolution is to remove the file, scan, re-add the file, scan again. Emby realizes the file has been renamed (screenshot attached) but is still using the old metadata, when it was only a single episode. nmkaufman 49
4.8.3.0; I just updated from 4.8.1, last night, so I was waiting to see if the problem went away. I am running unRAID/docker, but I don't think this is a platform-specific issue. Also, I realize this is going to be murky issue with the "Reading and writing of nfo for multi-part episodes is wrong" post. I've recently had this same problem with single-episode file renaming, though. I realized my episodes of Tales from the Cryptkeeper were out of order, and when I renamed them, I had a heck of a time getting the metadata replaced. Happy2Play 8296
Just now, nmkaufman said: 4.8.3.0; I just updated from 4.8.1, last night, so I was waiting to see if the problem went away. Did you Refresh metadata on the episode? Only other thing I can think of would be provider cached data. You can find the show per provider folder by number and delete them and then do a Refresh metadata on the Show.
