alucryd 216
Didn't realize centos 7 was on such an old glibc version. Since it's getting EOLed in a few months I'm not sure it's worth it to start packing glibc in our RPM packages. Are you able to switch to our docker image? That one comes with its own glibc and will run about anywhere docker can run. I can assist you during the transition. A couple useful links: https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/centos/ https://hub.docker.com/r/emby/embyserver Edited March 1 by alucryd
Losidion 1
Thank you for the reply. i thought it might have been something like that i was hoping to get few more months out of the server before migrating to a new CentOS stream however i guess ill just have to do it sooner rather then later. I am not a big fan of dockers as i have a slightly complicated setup already but thank you for the information.
Lessaj 63
I used this method to go from CentOS 7 -> CentOS Stream 8 on multiple servers and overall went smoothly. As always, have backups, take backups of things like package lists because you may find some things you use get uninstalled. https://wiki.almalinux.org/elevate/ELevate-quickstart-guide.html
