Emby 4.8.1.0 and Emby Theater 3.0.20 - no sound

I'm having a strange issue.

When I start ET and watch a movie or an episode (ext.player MPC-HC) everything seems fine,

but when I try to play a 2nd item I almost everytime dont get any audio playback-

I cannot reproduce that bug, only by chance.

Attached you find two emby logs. 1st one contains episode playback from "resume watching" on main,

and additionally watching from season details.

All the time no audio playback. I even closed ET but had no luck either.

 

2nd log is after another restart of ET and there I get audio playback on 1st try.

The file doesnt seem to be the problem as I can play them all by MPC-HC from filesystem w/o hassle.

 

Would really appreciate if @Lukecould check this one out.

Hi, have you configured audio settings in the app as well as windows audio settings?

Speaker config was on auto, activated all passthrough settings now. Will try to force the error again and report back.

No luck, error is back.

Just watched Turtles with the little one, than one episode of S.W.A.T. all good, 2nd episode, no sound.

Audio and video settings of both files are identical.

I'm clueless.

Did you try rebooting the machine that has Theater installed? Also did you check the player volume to make sure it's not turned down in the app?
