Happy2Play 8296
Can you elaborate on what going offline means? What are we looking at in this minute and half log?
LongMan 89
Just a spinning blue circle with the web page header. Cannot access any media That's the last log available. If more details are required tell me and I will provide.
LongMan 89
I have to restart the pc to be able to access media again
Happy2Play 8296
With as many libraries as you have, I would suggest changing your database cache as default I would expect to be low. PRAGMA cache_size=-98304
LongMan 89
Ok. I will give that a try. Thanks for taking the time to help
Luke 37099
Please try removing these plugins: 2024-02-23 12:28:16.620 Info App: Loading playback_reporting, Version=2.1.0.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from C:\Users\Zotac User\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\plugins\playback_reporting.dll 2024-02-23 12:28:16.620 Info App: Loading SmartPlaylist, Version=2.4.0.3, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null from C:\Users\Zotac User\AppData\Roaming\MediaBrowser-Server\plugins\SmartPlaylist.dll Then restart the server and see how things compare. Thanks.
LongMan 89
Just coming back to report that Happy2Play's suggestion seems to have worked. It hasn't gone offline since I have increase the setting. I will also remove those dlls. I understand SmartPlaylist but why Playback Reporting, I thought it was compatible.
Happy2Play 8296
Sounds like db cache was just to small and potentially taking way longer than expecting to open. But yes if you still have issues your best bet is plugins next.
Luke 37099
What was the cache size option before?
Happy2Play 8296
2 minutes ago, Luke said: What was the cache size option before? The default 96. PRAGMA cache_size=-98304 But with 12 libraries I would think that is low, but I guess the question really should be how large is the libary.db. @LongMan
LongMan 89
library.db is 452 MB. I don't remember the previous data cache size value but I changed it to 4000 MB. I only run emby on that computer and it has 16GB of RAM. It is much snappier now and I like it. Thanks again
LongMan 89
I am getting the occasional 401 error. I googled it and it said Unauthorized. Why would the user authorization change? After a while it works again, or if I restart the machine it works. Did something change with authorization between 4.7 and 4.8? The problem seem to be on streaming access, admin still functions. LongMan 89
Yes I am. It is Intermittent. I have ruled out network because it is the same on the host machine.

LongMan 89
No. No change. Since 4.8 I have been having these issues. Increasing PRAGMA cache_size moved it from being unusable being available intermittently.
