dethknite 33
I wanted to share this as a request, though it perhaps is partially an uncommon case and was therefore overlooked. The "Continue Watching" section in Emby usually shows TV Series that were recently watched. If there are newer episodes, they will appear there after the current is complete. However, if there are previous episodes, they will not ever show. This makes it easy to miss previous episodes for users if an episode / season did not exist at the time they started watching and is later added to the Library. (Essentially a "roll-back to beginning if there are any previous unwatched episodes after the last is complete). It would be nice if it would continue on by default, showing the next up episode if there is one, but if not, would check if anything prior exists unwatched, and if so, show the earliest of those... otherwise the series would drop off as it currently does. (This mostly applies to series that do not have a specific required order to watch -- ie. Nova, Cops, Simpsons, First 48, etc.) Perhaps even an option in the settings to do so if that behavior is not desired for all users on TV shows. Luke 37071
Hi, if you go back and play one of those older episodes, what do you see then?
ebr 14913
I think his point is that you don't even know they exist. You'd have to go hunting for them. Considering we have the ability to remove a series from CW now, it seems reasonable to behave as he asks - if no unwatched episodes exist after the last watched but some do before it, show the earliest unwatched one. 1
dethknite 33
Yeppers. If a user does goes back to watch one it continues on.. though as ebr pointed out, the users don't ever know.
