Hi,

I use OBS studio to stream music video clips via mediamtx tool as RTSP server and want to watch it in Emby (Windows/Android) but I noticed the message about not supported container.

Can you help me make a proper stream setup that will not require this transcoding? Log is attached.

1) Setup for Streaming with OBS

On Emby added URL "rtsp://@192.168.0.10:8554/live" to IPTV plugin and see container conversion to HSL.

2) Also tried using Recording

The result is the same.

Moreover, audio being played 192kbps instead of 256. I tested m3u file in SKPlayer and saw needed audio bitrate.

Hi, your example shows no transcoding. It is just being repackaged into a new container.

Not realy, the audio is transcoded to lower bitrate 192 instead of 256

Also I tested streaming OPUS or LPCM audio and it is transcoded to AAC and MP3.

IPTV & M3U

Opus we can probably get to direct stream, but the pcm one will need to be converted.
