YKEmbyMedia 1
Hi, I use OBS studio to stream music video clips via mediamtx tool as RTSP server and want to watch it in Emby (Windows/Android) but I noticed the message about not supported container. Can you help me make a proper stream setup that will not require this transcoding? Log is attached. 1) Setup for Streaming with OBS On Emby added URL "rtsp://@192.168.0.10:8554/live" to IPTV plugin and see container conversion to HSL. 2) Also tried using Recording The result is the same. Moreover, audio being played 192kbps instead of 256. I tested m3u file in SKPlayer and saw needed audio bitrate. ffmpeg-directstream-9dacc8e5-db80-4b94-ab8f-3f68dc3afe9d_1.txt Edited February 21 by YKEmbyMedia Corrected title+fixed pictures
Luke 37095
Hi, your example shows no transcoding. It is just being repackaged into a new container.
YKEmbyMedia 1
Not realy, the audio is transcoded to lower bitrate 192 instead of 256 http://192.168.0.5:8096/emby/videos/59613/live.m3u8?DeviceId=a70b6978-bfd4-4ff3-ba70-b3d7caa71bac&MediaSourceId=d4d1e6d4c37043b7b0a5835416574a18&PlaySessionId=b660fa2e1deb4eb1b712fbeabd8f51d5&api_key=52e1cdb531994eb18eda42c8389d7da6&VideoCodec=h264,h265,hevc,av1&AudioCodec=mp3,aac&VideoBitrate=159808000&AudioBitrate=192000&MaxWidth=3840&AudioStreamIndex=1&TranscodingMaxAudioChannels=2&SegmentContainer=m4s,ts&MinSegments=1&BreakOnNonKeyFrames=True&SubtitleStreamIndexes=-1&ManifestSubtitles=vtt&h264-profile=high,main,baseline,constrainedbaseline,high10&h264-level=62&hevc-codectag=hvc1,hev1,hevc,hdmv&TranscodeReasons=ContainerNotSupported Also I tested streaming OPUS or LPCM audio and it is transcoded to AAC and MP3. Luke 37095
Opus we can probably get to direct stream, but the pcm one will need to be converted.
