Playback not supported

Good Evening, 

 

I have just been given access to my friends server and have setup my account etc, I can see his content but everytime I go to play something it states playback not supported. He has advised to unlock the app but that doesn’t seem to make any difference either. I have in and reinstalled the Emby app but still nothing can anyone help.

Your friend's server has likely hit Premiere devices limit and until some device drops off the list/slot opens (devices are tracked for abt. a week), no new devices will be accepted, whether unlocked or not. Once you do connect, your unlocked device will not count against his Premiere devices limit for playback purposes (but will, if using any other Premiere feature(s)).
