trippster2 2
All of a sudden, I cannot connect to my Emby server. At first, I thought it might have something to do with either my anti-virus (bitdefender) or my VPN on my laptop running the server, so I turned all features of those off. I have tried using both my Amazon Fire Cube and my Roku TV Emby apps, but both have the same error. When attempting to login to the server, it shows an IP of 192.168.0.118:8096, but when I go into the dashboard of my Emby app on my laptop, it shows an IP of 192.168.1.8:8096, so I tried that one, too. Still doesn't work. I then tried to sign in on my Android phone, using both of these IPs...neither works there, either. I have been using Emby for a few years now, and have never had this problem. Solution trippster2 2 Posted February 18 Author Solution Share Posted February 18 This might sound a little crazy, but I have two home networks. I didn't realize that my TV and my laptop were using two different ones, nor that it was necessary for them to be using the same one to connect. Once I changed the one my laptop was using, everything is working perfectly. Thanks, Luke, for making that idea pop in my head! 1
