Now when I add a new movie to the media library, Emby will scan the metadata of all the movies and re-download the nfo file. How can I set it up so that Emby can only scrape the metadata of the newly added movies?

How are you determining this?

Because there are many nfo files in the network disk recycle bin

Still don't follow as Emby will only reread an existing nfo if there has been a change to is.  Are you saying your modified date is changing on all your items?

Are you using Radarr or any other automation for you movies ?

That could alter your nfo files ?

Hi, what makes you think  that Emby is rescanning every movie?

a normal library scan should do exactly  what you are looking for.

There are no changes, just adding new files and re-scanning the media library, Emby re-downloaded the nfo file of the video

I am using Emby’s scraping plug-in TMDB. Logically speaking, the data pulled every time should be exactly the same without any modification.

I mapped the network disk to a disk through software. I saw in the software console that Emby was repeatedly downloading the nfo file.

All I want to see is how your Emby media library is set up, it bothers me that each scan takes a ton of time

Hi there, what makes you think Emby is redownloading the nfo of the video?
