kjhedges 52
I firstly apologise for where this is posted, Couldnt think of a suitable forum to post in for client app. I have a polaroid ( https://vestel.co.uk/en/tv/ ) Smart TV. Made in Turkey by Vestel technologies. Tv is cheap I know, but it does support Apps like Plex, Netflix, youtube ect. And also has the ability to sideload apps. I can use the web app in the browser app on the tv. But, Im wondering if anyone has knowledge of the system that vestel use for their apps and whether any EMBY app will be suitable to try. I have tried on numerous occasions to contact vestel, asking them the process to add apps to their appstore, but have never recieved a reply back. Its the point that Plex is available on their appstore, so I assume that an EMBY app can be installed, just gotta be suitable. Any help on this would be appreciated. Luke 37071
HI, looks like they use Vidaa. I agree it would be great to have an app for them. Others have requested Vidaa before. Unfortunately they don't have a process where anyone can submit apps to them. You first have to become a Vidaa partner: https://www.vidaa.com/partners/
kjhedges 52
Does EMBY have an app suitable for Vestel TVs? Like I say, we can Sideload. Also, doing a little reading. VIDAA has only started with vestel from 2023 onwards. I know that my Polaroid Vestel TV is 4 years old now. Edited February 14 by kjhedges

Pretty much all smart tv apps are web based, so you could try pointing it to your web app url or http://app.emby.media Then maybe you can bookmark it to the home screen and make it feel like an app.
