ng4ever 39
Wish it loaded the content instantly once it is added to the library like Air Video HD did. I know it does not take that long but still. Now to find out how to make it so each media file just the file name and no thumbnails or posters. Also Auto on internet quality for video does not work for when you tethering from your phone to your tablet very well. It still sees it as Wifi not cellular. So it over does the speed. No big deal. No big deal. 1) this is because Emby is primarily intended for movies/tv shows where files must be interpreted, matched to online databases, and the metadata retrieved online and/or read from other files. Just listing the raw files like a simple file browser is not it's intended use. Enabling Real-time monitoring helps with this significantly, but it will still not be instant. If you want a file browser, use a FileBrowser. 2) use the library type 'home videos and photos', most metadata fetching is disable for it. You can change the view style under the 3 dots menu when looking at the library, to hide thumbnails/make the titles more prominent. 3) your tablet IS connected to wifi. 'tethering' is just your phone creating a wifi network for you tablet to connect to. The tablet can't tell the wifi it's connected to is supplied by mobile data and it never will. Auto should still work though; you just have to select it instead of a specific quality. Edited February 13 by darkassassin07
