Recordings aborted early

So, after the 4.8 upgrade scratching my head as two episodes of a series aborted early with nothing in log files (THAT won't be repeated on terrestrial television as shown once then moved to lower picture quality subscription satellite channels for repeats).

Given that Emby is usually 100% reliable with recordings (it's normally guide updates that has historically wiped out recording a show at all), this was a surprise.

 

So I notice a fix for 4.8.1.0 labelled as "

• Fix sporadic cases of live streams ending early

To stop this happening again can scheduled recordings actually be tried before general release please?

I had this on the Sunday evening then the Wednesday evening with other recordings in between.

I can only think the live tv regressions during the betas had something to do with it.
