Highest quality audio stream selection by default

Is there a setting within Theater so the highest quality language specific audio stream is selected in lieu of the default?

Kodi, potplayer and LAV filters for example have such a setting.

Hi, have you explored your Emby user audio settings?

Hi Luke, nothings jumping out at me.

I've looked through the Emby Theater audio settings and a few other areas and cant find a 'prefer highest quality stream' or similar option. 

I'm not talking about manual selection at the menu screen before playing a movie but defaulting automatically.

Can you or someone point me in the right direction please?

There isn't an exact setting for this, but there are other audio settings in the user profile options that might help.

I wonder if there is a MPV.conf setting that can be made to override the default emby audio selection?

Try clicking your user icon -> playback settings.

Again I realize it's not what you need, just making you're aware they are there.
