MunchkinDaddy 2
I have a ton of movies that are ripped to BR quality (1920 or 2160p) and Emby is showing them as 1080p resolution? It is happening to every single movie that is higher than 1080p quality. Is there a setting I am missing? After looking at Windows Explorer and Media Monkey, they both show the correct resolution, but it seems like Emby shows every single one at 1080p resolution? I know the TV will automatically upscale the movie, but my issue is if it's already at BR quality; then that is less work for the TV to do to upscale which means it loads faster. I'm having trouble following what you're trying to describe (1920 is horizontal resolution in FHD, native BR resolution, of 1920x1080, while 2160 is vertical resolution in 4K UHD, 3840x2160), so depending what kind of disc you're ripping, it'll show either 1080p or 4K. Care to show an example for better understanding?
MunchkinDaddy 2
Yes Im speaking of 1920x1080 or 3840x2160. A movie with resolution of 1920x1080 is showing as 1080 when I look at movie details. I thought the movie details page would show the first number (1920 or 3840) as the resolution.

Correct, as nomenclatures for video resolutions are generally using vertical resolutions, i.e.: Quote Standard-definition television (SDTV) 480i (NTSC-compatible digital standard employing two interlaced fields of 243 lines each) 576i (PAL-compatible digital standard employing two interlaced fields of 288 lines each) Enhanced-definition television (EDTV) 480p (720 × 480 progressive scan) 576p (720 × 576 progressive scan) High-definition television (HDTV) 720p (1280 × 720 progressive scan) 1080i (1920 × 1080 split into two interlaced fields of 540 lines) 1080p (1920 × 1080 progressive scan) Ultra-high-definition television (UHDTV) 4K UHD (3840 × 2160 progressive scan) 8K UHD (7680 × 4320 progressive scan) 7 minutes ago, MunchkinDaddy said: I thought the movie details page would show the first number (1920 or 3840) as the resolution.
