dadofhgnadn 9 Posted January 27 Share Posted January 27 We have multiple playback devices but most are FireTV, Android TV and Emby Theater. We recently purchased a TCL TV with Roku for the Guest Bedroom. I'm used to pushing the down arrow to access the CC button and options. The CC button is not showing up when I push the down arrow on the Roku device. I'm new to the Roku OS, do they need to be enabled somewhere I have yet to find? speechles 1919 Posted January 28 Share Posted January 28 (edited) The Roku does support subtitles both internal and external if they exist and will show the "CC" button. It does not yet have the mechanism built in to search for subtitles on the OSD as the media is being played. This means it cannot display the "CC" button when subtitles are not present.
