Q-Droid 654
You can create the directory and file if the path doesn't already exist.
EdReal4 0
ok, i have created the directory emby-server.service.d and the file write-permissions.conf on the path: i wrote the commands with the path of my music [Service] SupplementaryGroups=media ReadWritePaths=/home/user/mylibrary UMask=0002 reestart the pc. But i yet could not creat a new library, the message is the same as before: more suggestions?
Q-Droid 654
Now that you have removed the restrictions you still have to make sure that path has the permissions needed for user emby or group media to navigate and reach "mylibrary". The emby user needs to be able to access /home, /home/user and /home/user/mylibrary. For directories r-x is enough at group or other. To rely on group would need to have the right ownership, in this case media. If you want emby to create, modify or delete then you have to make sure it has permissions to do so.
