Bvaring 2
I moved the location of emby portable on my computer. emby server has been set to allow in the windows firewall and is running as before as service using nssm. I can access emby on my local network but not externally. I have emby premiere with emby connect. The mobile app says "Unable to Reach..emby". Logging in via app.emby.media shows the server but says we're unable to connect right now. Im runniing emby 4.17.14.0 on Windows 11 Pro. I have even tried disabling the windows firewall just to see if that is the what is blocking it but it still doesn't work. How can I find out if there is a problem with the emby connect system or with my subscription. Please help. Thanks, Brad embyserver.txt

Bvaring 2
I am using only http://. But also it doesn't work in the Android app anymore. When I login with my connect account in the alp it automatically shows my server as an option to connect to with any info or configuration. Not it does show the server I can select but it does not connect. I have even tried wiping it all out and starting a fresh emby portable launch bur Sam's problem. I know something is being recognized because the app now shows my new emby server named after I set up this fresh new one. It displayed somehow automatically it got that much info but no connection, can't connect. The screen shot show the older server and the new server in the app. That updated by only logging in. Luke 37096
I would try doing a new server connection by manually entering the ip address.
Bvaring 2
Yes I am checking that. My Edge changes it but my Brave is configured to not upgrade url to https. But it doesn't work in the app either where the server info I populated automatically when I login to my connect account. The attached screen shows the local and remote address so it did connect enough to get my Wan IP
Bvaring 2
I renewed my old ddns and it works without port mapping perfectly. I wonder what changed but I'm good as long as this works.

Solution Bvaring 2 Posted March 8 Author Solution Share Posted March 8 Sorry I'm late. It all works now with Emby Connect, no ddns, not port forwarding or anything needed. I just started the entire process from the bottom up yet again and it worked this time. Too bad my primary hard drive went out about 2 weeks later. Thankfully I have a backup just need to get a new drive for the working copy. Tks
