bungee91 98 Posted January 10 Share Posted January 10 I would like to be able to skip within an in-progress recording, however doing so causes the playback to start again at the beginning. My primary use case is ATV apps (and Shields) which do this as expected, a direct stream playback with seeking function. The ATV app has some playback options for LiveTv settings for direct play, etc. however I don't see anything in the Samsung app to make an adjustment. I can confirm through stats for nerds that the Tv is direct playing the file which I'm fairly certain this is the culprit and the expected outcome. My server is more than capable to remux/convert or even transcode if it had to in order to add this needed functionality. Please advise if this is an expected limitation with the Samsung app. I am well aware playing or seeking an in-progress recording can be hit or miss and overall is a hot mess to support.
