axlns 3
Hi. So I checked setting "Cover by definition instead of type (UHD/HD/SD)" in my default profile. In specific covers I have these rules UHD items will use the UHD cover HD items will use the HD cover So with these settings in place I expect if Emby determines that movie is 4K it will be considered as UHD by CoverArt and therefore UHD cover will be applied. it seems it does not work this way, see attached screenshot any idea what I might be doing wrong? @roaku
roaku 795
@axlns Could you share the resolution of that item from the About / Media Info details?
axlns 3
@roaku sure, see attached screenshot, maybe the fact that BDMV container usually contains supplementary 1080p track (as far I know it provides Dolby Vision data) breaks plugin logic? I think CoverArt needs to look for main video track to determine video resolution Edited January 11 by axlns
axlns 3
@roaku actually I checked few more titles and it doesnt look like supplementary video track is the reason; found title where it only have one UHD track but still shows HD cover only see screenshots Edited January 11 by axlns
axlns 3
@roaku but it works fine with MKV container though... but I dont see why it doesnt work with BDMV as Emby correctly determines that media is UHD in both containers
ebr 14925
Hi. I believe at this time, BD folders are assumed to be 1080.
