Barlog9511 14
Hi all I need to run up to 30 (30x 1080p or 15x 4K) streams via Emby, so I decided to build a brand-new server I'm currently using 12 virtualized CPUs and 32 GB RAM and I can run up to 15x 1080p or 5x 4k streams I chose the following setup but I don't know if it will be enough Chassis - Supermicro SYS-1019GP-TT GPU - NVIDIA RTX A6000 CPU - Intel Xeon Silver CLX 4208 2P 8C/16T 2.1G RAM - 2x Samsung 16GB DDR4-3200 HDD - some SSD Network Card - Supermicro AOC-S25G-B2S-O - data come from another NAS server System - probably debian thank you for your opinions on this setup Edited January 9 by Barlog9511

RanmaCanada 345
I know this is late, but you will run into a hard drive bottleneck before you can reach 30 transcodes. Even Jason at BytemyBits was only able to reach 18 4k to 1080p transcodes on his 13900k because he was using an NVME array.
