Daniel1966 6
I use Folder View. I spent a considerable amount of time manually setting all of my movies to sort by Year. I want to see oldest to Newest. On PC it shows up correctly. (1st PIC) When I go to my Roku TV, the sorting is by Title. It was my understanding that whatever sorting you did on PC, it would carry over to Roku. I know that in Roku, I can also manually change the sorting, but I don't think I am supposed to have to. Any help appreciated. Emby is up to date (Version 4.7.14.0). Roku TV is up to date. roaku 795
Defaulting a library to folder view is a global user setting, but I think all the sorting and filtering options are set for the user in each client individually.
Daniel1966 6
I had this working before. Roku used to match the PC settings. Then I recently had a catastrophic system crash and needed to do a complete format and re-install. It is only on this new install that I am seeing this behavior. roaku 795
You probably set it on the Roku way back then and just need to do it again now.
Daniel1966 6
No. Before, I only set it on the PC and then it was the same on Roku. I am sure. You are not obligated to help me.... I know there are others that I regularly get help from on this forum....

Daniel1966 6
This just dawned on me. I have six Roku TVs. I am guessing now that I will have to change the sorting on dozens of folders, then do it all over again on five other TVs? This doesn't seem right. I have put in my vote on this feature request.... The sorting options for the same user should carry over for the same app (Roku).
