If you don’t want to/can’t update you can also download the subtitle srt files and add them to the movie folder. I use subscene.com. Then you want to make sure you name the SRT file properly so it automatically gets detected as the default subtitle option. For example, if you want subtitles for the movie Edge of Tomorrow, you’ll want to name your srt file Edge of Tomorrow.eng.default.srt and it will automatically play as the default subtitle option.
